BCSO search for Lady's Island armed robbery suspect

LADY'S ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery. 

It happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of the Waterford Cove apartment complex on Lady's Island. 

Deputies say the victim was walking to his vehicle when a young black man approached him armed with a black semi-automatic pistol. The gunman then demanded he give him all his valuables and then fled the area on foot. 

The suspect is described as a black male around 16 or 17 years old, 6 foot tall and wearing a white shirt and jeans.
