CRITTENDEN COUNTY, AR -

(WMC) - Crittenden Regional Hospital's reopening is delayed once again.

The hospital in West Memphis is now not expected to reopen until sometime around July 14.

Crews are still working to repair the Intensive Care Unit where a fire broke out in June. To put out that fire, the sprinkler system pushed out a total of 16,800 gallons of water.

Hospital officials say it's taking a long time to get the facility back up to code, because hospitals are held to a much higher standard than other buildings.

Another fire sparked in an electrical box Tuesday night. West Memphis Fire Department was able to quickly put the fire out using fire extinguishers.

That fire is not expected to have any impact on the pending hospital reopening.

Crittenden Regional Hospital's primary care clinics, outpatient rehabilitation, Home Health, and Hospice Services remain open for business.
