Clyo woman faces drug, weapons charges

CLYO, GA (WTOC) -

A Clyo woman is in the Effingham County Jail facing drug and weapons charges after members of the Effingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Suppression Unit executed a search warrant on Reedsville Road in Clyo.

"Anne Redd, AKA Cocaine Annie , was tending to her marijuana plants when deputies arrived at her residence today," Sheriff's spokesman David Ehsanipoor said.

Deputies discovered multiple marijuana plants on the property as well as several firearms.

Redd, who is a convicted felon, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, as well as other charges.

Redd is currently in the Effingham County Jail.
