Witnesses: Teen skateboarding when struck by car

FULTON COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

A Fulton County teenager struck by a car Tuesday morning has died.

The 23-year-old male driver of the car stopped when the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. on Bethsaida Road near Brown Drive South.

Witnesses told Fulton County police that the 19-year-old victim was skateboarding when he darted into the path of the oncoming car.

An ambulance took the victim, identified as Dwayne Desdunes from Fairburn, to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

No charges are being filed at this time against the driver.
