Bergman, Ph.D. Will Be a Leading Speaker at the Families Through Surrogacy Conference This September
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 08, 2014
Dr. Kim Bergman, Ph.D., co-owner of Growing Generations, one of the largest surrogacy agencies in the world, will speak at the Families Through Surrogacy Conference, to be held September 13 in Alexandria, Virginia.
Dr. Bergmans presentation will focus on The Psychology of Surrogacy, detailing the motivations of gestational surrogates to carry a child intended for another person. Bergman will also clarify the most important traits that surrogates possess, and why those traits are so essential. At the conference, she will share her expertise with those thinking about surrogacy so they can learn what to expect from a psychological perspective for themselves or their surrogate.
"As a psychologist, I have found that surrogates are strong emotionally and are motivated by a deep desire to help others and to make a difference in the world," said Dr. Bergman. "The surrogacy process is one that empowers these women and has a psychologically positive impact on their lives."
The conference will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, from 9-6 PM at the Holiday Inn in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Dr. Bergmans panel at Families Through Surrogacy is tentatively scheduled to take place at 10:15-10:40AM ET.
Early bird registration is $70 through July 31, and $120 after that. You can register here.
