BRYAN CO., GA (WTOC) -

Police and rescue crews responded to a bad crash on I-95 in Bryan County Thursday morning.

It happened around 6 a.m. on I-95 southbound about 2 miles from exit 87. Officials say a pickup truck veered off the road and slammed into a disabled vehicle parked on the side of the highway, causing the pickup truck to roll several times.

One person had to be airlifted to the hospital and one other was taken by ambulance. There is no word on their conditions at this time.

Police had to close the right lane of Interstate 95 South around exit 90 for a little over an hour as crews cleared the scene. Two other southbound lanes remained open, but traffic did backed up heavily in the area.

All lanes reopened to traffic around 7:15 a.m. However, due to the back up, delays can still be expected for a while longer.

GSP and Bryan County police are investigating.
