Energy Source of Providence launches new mechanical services division to serve its energy efficiency customers and names new lead engineer.

Prominent National energy conservation firm, Energy Source LLC has named Jorge Soares of Braintree, Massachusetts as lead engineer of the companys new mechanical services division.
Mr. Soares, who attained his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Massachusetts, will oversee the companys in-house mechanical services division. This newly added engineering division specializes in the design and development of innovative hardware-based energy conservation solutions for a variety of industrial, commercial and municipal customers.
Energy Source Vice President Ron Sliney headed the national search to find the ideal candidate to fill the key role.

Bringing our engineering in-house will allow us to continue to push innovation and efficiency in service of our customers. Jorges very specialized experience in energy efficiency, along with his impressive educational credentials makes him a perfect fit for this role. Mr. Soares, who did his post-graduate work at the Universitys Industrial Assessment Center performing intensive energy efficiency audits, is equally enthusiastic about the alignment of purpose.
