One person was killed in a single car accident on Highway 17A in Colleton County Saturday evening.
Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol say the accident happened around 4:40 p.m.
The driver of the vehicle was headed north along Highway 17A when they went off the left side of the road and crashed into several trees, according to officials.
Investigators are still trying to determine whether the driver was wearing a seat belt.
The name of the victim has not been released.
