Another SCMPD officer resigns, cites retaliation, lack of pay

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The officer accused of pulling a gun on the Savannah City Manager's husband during a traffic stop earlier this year has officially resigned.

Officer Frank Reteguiz's attorney, William Claiborne, has confirmed a resignation letter dated July 6.

The letter states Reteguiz chose to leave the SCMPD for several reasons, including retaliation, lack of pay and no opportunity for advancement.
