Ethics memo raises big questions

The recently released memo detailing contact between Georgia ethics commission director Holly LaBerge and aides to Gov. Nathan Deal has rocked state government and threatened the credibility of top officials, including Attorney General Sam Olens.

The memo has raised pointed questions about the conduct of LaBerge, the governor's staff and Olens, who received a copy of the memo but did not turn it over to former ethics staff members suing the state.
