Thanksgiving is the holiday on most people's minds today, but Savannah's City Council was concentrating more on Saint Patrick's Day.
More than a month ago, city council postponed voting on the River Street festival dates until the Waterfront Association agreed to more diversity among the vendors.
This wasn't the only controversy. You may remember the festival was almost cancelled this year after a dispute between the city and the Waterfront Association. They have since worked out the financial and diversity issues and have approved the festival dates.
The festival on River Street will be held from March 17 to 19.
