Third ID Band holds Rhythm of the Marne concert

FORT STEWART (WTOC) -

The Third Infantry Division Band's Brass Quintet, Woodwind Quintet and Jazz combo performed for the Rhythm of the Marne Concert on Thursday night.

Soldiers and their families, as well as civilians came out to hear the different bands play. One of the soldiers involved in Thursday night's concert explains why she loves being a part of the jazz group.

"I have the opportunity to be a soldier and do something that I absolutely love to do," said Staff Sgt. Traci Gregg. "Singing is my passion. I have a passion for all genres of music, and it's just a wonderful feeling to be able to wake up every day and do something that I love to do."

The Rhythm of the Marne concerts are held once a month, and they are free and open to the public.
