MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Few details have been released about a Madison County man facing a murder charge.

Jamie Wayne Parsons was booked into the jail around 1 a.m. Sunday. He is being held on a $120,000 bond.

On Sunday, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office said information would not be given about the arrest or the alleged crime until Monday morning.

Neighbors of Parsons, however, said the victim was the man's wife, Vicky.

Kimberly Williams said Jamie was living with Vicky, who has three girls that the neighbors were watching since Friday night. She said if there was trouble, it wasn't apparent on the outside. But when neighbors went to get extra clothes for the girls on Saturday, Williams said, they made a grisly discovery.

"Cop cars, investigators... total chaos," Williams said. "They found her wrapped in a sheet, no longer with us."

Another neighbor said the children are staying with close relatives.

Parsons has had past run-ins with the law, even showing up in a Valley's Wanted segment in 2007 in which he was wanted, and later arrested, for kidnapping. In 2009, Parsons was arrested for domestic violence, rape, and kidnapping.
