BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Anthony Grant, Jr., the third suspect wanted in connection with an alleged gang-related assault in Bluffton, has been arrested.

Grant was arrested on Tuesday after he was located in Hardeeville by Jasper County authorities. He was wanted on one count of second degree assault and battery by mob for the attack that left Stefan Harris, 22, in a coma.

The other suspects in this case, 20-year-old Bryce Mincey and 21-year-old Christopher Mincey, were arrested and charged last month. The three men are accused of assaulting Harris  as part of an alleged disciplinary action for failure to participate in a previous gang-related fight.

Harris was initially transported to Coastal Carolina Hospital where it was learned he sustained severe head trauma. He was flown to MUSC where he remained comatose and in critical condition. He has since been released and is recovering.

The investigation into the alleged gang activity continues, and anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Sgt. D. Seifert at 843.255.3414 or CrimeStoppers.
