The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for a missing Coast Guardsman. Twenty-nine year old Second Class Petty Officer Dallas Scott disappeared early Saturday morning after his girlfriend fell into the Savannah River.

Twenty-three year old Traci Miller, who's a seaman in the Coast Guard, was saved by Savannah Chatham Police Corporal Ashley Brown who jumped into the water to save her. Miller told officers Scott jumped in after her.

After more than 18 hours, officials ended their search, listing Scott as missing. Both Scott and Miller are stationed in Charleston, South Carolina.
