Vizio is recalling two sizes of its flat panel televisions because of a risk the sets may tip over and cause injury.

The stand assembly can fail on Vizio E-series 39-inch and 42-inch television sets, causing the television to tip over unexpectedly, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. That failure could pose a risk of impact injury to the consumer.

Vizio says it received 51 reports of tip-overs, but says no injuries have been reported, CPSC says.

Anyone who has purchased that model and size of Vizio set should call the company toll-free at (855) 472-7450 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. eastern time Monday through Friday or between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the weekend for more information. Consumers can also visit the company's website at www.vizio.com and click on "Safety Notice" for more information.

The sets were sold at Best Buy, Meijer, Target, Walmart and other retailers nationwide, and online at Amazon.com, Costco.com, Meijer.com, Sams.com and others, between December 2013 and June 2014.
