Fort Stewart solider killed in crash near Glennville

TATTNALL CO., GA (WTOC) -

A Fort Stewart soldier was killed in a head-on collision early Thursday morning on Georgia Highway 196 near Glennville.

Staff Sgt. Joseph Cunningham, 36, of Anniston, AL had just arrived to Fort Stewart from Fort Riley, KS and was to be a member of the Third ID Band.

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the two car crash, which also claimed two other lives.

    The Mayor of Bloomingdale, Ben Rozier, is accused of racist comments on a Facebook post.
