VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta police investigators are looking for the person who shot several times in a fight just before 2:00 Thursday morning outside a night club.

VPD says that Felton Sampson, 29, Antwan Wright, 22, and Leshundra Hundley, 24, were all wounded by bullets as they tried to get away from the violence.

The parking lot at the Club Dream nightclub on Bemiss Road, also known as Club 229,  was full of emergency personnel after someone fired gunshots, injuring three people.

"Apparently, someone pulled some type of weapon and fired several shots. As patrons were running from the area, at least three people were shot," said VPD Lt. Aaron Kirk.

"The two male victims were shot in the thigh area," Kirk said. "Both of them were transported to South Georgia Medical Center by personal vehicles. The third victim, the female, was grazed in the ankle area and was transported by ambulance."

I actually found a shell casing in the parking lot while I was shooting video. I notified the police department and they sent out an investigator to collect the casing.

As of right now, police don't have any suspects and are still investigating to see how many shooters there were.

"We're checking to see if more than one person fired shots. right now, it looks like it was just one person shooting."

Kirk reminds people to be aware when they go to any nightclub.

"You need to be aware of your surroundings. Be careful when you go out to clubs like this. If you see an altercation taking' place, get away from it as quickly as possible."

While the three victims may have been trying to do just that, unfortunately it wasn't quick enough. All three victims were treated and released from SGMC this morning.

Anyone having any further information regarding this crime or any other crime is urged to contact the Valdosta Police Department at 229-293-3145 or can remain anonymous at 229-293-3091.
