3rd teen arrested in Ross Bridge burglaries

HOOVER, AL (WBRC) -

Hoover police say a third person is in custody for breaking into two homes in the Ross Bridge neighborhood last week.

Adam Andrews was arrested around 4 p.m. on Wednesday in the 6400 block of Division Avenue in Birmingham.

He is being held in the Hoover City Jail and is expected to be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail on Thursday.

Andrews is charged with two counts of second degree burglary and two counts of theft of property in the case. His bond is set at $200,000.

Two other teens were arrested last week in connection to the burglaries.

Elijah Robtez Gaines, 19, of Lipscomb and Marvin Tito Blevins, Jr., 18, of Bessemer, were charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft of property and unlawful breaking and entering motor vehicles.

They are both in custody of the Jefferson County Jail.
