Albany man charged in Savannah drug bust

SAVANNAH, GA -  Three people are in custody for trying to sell large quantities of methamphetamine to undercover Chatham County agents Thursday evening.

 Agents purchased over two ounces of methamphetamine from a 31 year old Albany man at one of the motels in the I-95/Highway 204 area. Two people from west Chatham County were also participants in this incident. Over $3,600 in cash was seized in this incident.

Travis Montreal Billings 31, from Albany, was charged with Sale of a Controlled Substance, and Trafficking Methamphetamine.  Billings also had warrants for his arrest through Dougherty County for Parole Violation.  Billings was one of WALB's Most Wanted in 2009.

Billings was released from Burruss Inmate Boot Camp in 2008. He was supposed to be returned to the Dougherty County jail for four active drug warrants. 

In April of 2007, Billings was shot in the parking lot of the Mabry Motel. Police believe that shooting was gang-related.

Steven Frank Rodriquez 21, of Savannah was charged with Sale of a Controlled Substance, and Trafficking Methamphetamine.

Morgan Folds, 21, of Savannah, was charged with Possession of Marijuana (Less than one ounce), and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Clonazepam).  

Folds also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest from Camilla, for various traffic charges. 

All are being held without bound at the Chatham County Detention Center.
