Man wanted in Bulloch County arrested in Jacksonville, NC

BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -

After 10 days, a fugitive's run from the law is over.

Jacksonville, NC Police arrested Daniel Howell on charges from the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office, including aggravated assault against a family member and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.

Those charges stem from an incident on August 8 in Bulloch County. Deputies said he threatened to kill his children and then himself before leaving town with them.

Howell's children were with him on Monday when he was arrested. They are now safe with family.

Howell is being held in the Onslow County Jail without bond. He will be in court on Tuesday morning.
