Most Former Stubbs Towers Residents Placed in New Housing

About 20 former residents of Stubbs Towers remain without permanent housing today. On November 14, someone broke a water pipe on the building's top floor, flooding out the rest of the building. Police don't know who did it and the investigation continues.

The Housing Authority of Savannah has placed about 60 of the victims in other public housing. However, they can't get in touch with six former residents.

If you are a former resident of Stubbs Towers and have not heard from the housing authority, call 232.2432, extension 114.
