Family of Savannah murder victim wants answers in case

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The family of a murdered Savannah State University student is looking for more answers.

Rebecca Foley was shot and killed in the parking lot of her Southside Savannah apartment in January 2013.

Tina Foley, Rebecca's stepmother, says that three weeks ago police told them they had two suspects, but now she says police are telling the family it's a cold case and they won't tell them why.

Tina Foley says police aren't returning the family's phone calls anymore, but they plan to keep calling and they plan on coming to Savannah on Sunday to try to have a meeting with police officials.

The Foley's say they'll be at the police station at 11 a.m. Sunday.
