A Ledbetter, Kentucky woman was injured after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing into another vehicle, according to the McCracken County sheriff's office.
Shortly before 7:25 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the 4300 block of Clarks River Road for an injury crash.
Brenda L. Ritchie, 50, of Ledbetter, Kentucky was driving eastbound on Clarks River Road.
Officers say she fell asleep while driving, and rear ended Chevrolet flatbed pickup driven by Chester A. Mason, 61, of Bloomfield, Missouri.
Mason and his passenger, Jason P. Rubenacker, 43, of Boaz we're not hurt.
Ritchie was taken a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies were assisted by the Reidland Fire Department and Mercy Regional.
