Texarkana man behind bars after stabbing

TEXARKANA, AR (KSLA) - An afternoon stabbing has sent a Texarkana man to the hospital and another person to jail.

It happened in the 500 block of East Short 21st Street in Texarkana, Arkansas where police said 35-year-old Mitchell Green and 53-year-old Bradley Emfinger got into a confrontation.

During a confrontation, Emfinger allegedly displayed a large knife and cut Green. Police aren't sure what caused the fight at this time.

Green was injured and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Emfinger was taken to the Bi-State Justice Center Jail and charged with second degree battery, terrorist threat and refusing arrest, police said.
