NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Police arrested two men Tuesday that were accused of robbing a total of four people in two separate holdups.

The first victim was delivering Chinese food to a home on Hillside Drive about 10 p.m.

As he was walking up to the home, two men approached him wearing black masks. One man had a gun. The other had a baseball bat.

The delivery man was hit over the head with the baseball bat and robbed of food, cash and a cell phone.

The victim flagged down a police officer in the area.

Minutes earlier, officers had responded to a holdup at Santa's Pub, 2225 Bransford Ave.

In that case, two men approached three victims who were sitting outside and robbed them of their cash and a cell phone.

The suspects fled in a silver hatchback car, police said.

Police spotted the described vehicle on Union Street in downtown Nashville.

The driver, Turner Goodwin, 21, of Mt. Juliet, fled from the car but was caught. Roland Davis, 32, of Nashville, was unable to get out of the vehicle.

Police said they recovered items taken from both robberies along with a handgun and baseball bat inside the car.

Goodwin has been charged with three counts of facilitation of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated robbery. Davis was charged with four counts of aggravated robbery. Bond was set at $225,000 for each.
