Candidates for the United States Senate Michelle Nunn and David Perdue will participate in a forum moderated by John Pruitt during the Georgia Chamber's annual Congressional Luncheon on Thursday at the Macon Marriott City Center.
This will be the first time the two major candidates for Georgia's open United States Senate seat will appear together.
Candidates will give opening statements and then answer questions from the moderator. Governor Nathan Deal will also participate in the event program.
In addition, Congressman Sanford Bishop, Congressman Tom Price, and Congressman Austin Scott and are expected to attend.
The program will begin with Governor Deal's remarks at 11:50 a.m. The forum itself will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and run until 1:00 p.m.
