Posted: Updated:

The Liberty County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in apprehending a suspect connected to five robberies spanning three counties on Sunday morning.

The robberies started around 2:30 a.m. and continued until 6:45 a.m.

Chronologically, the robber followed this order on the morning of August 24th:

1. Handyland Exxon in Hinesville

2. Shell Gas in Claxton

3. Parker's in Blitchton

4. Love's Travel Stop in Richmond Hill

5. Parker's in Flemington

These locations are located in Evans, Bryan and Liberty counties.

Before the robbery at the Flemington location, the man entered the store and selected a Gatorade from a cooler. He put the hood of his jacket over his head and then approached the counter with his Gatorade, then he flashed the gun inside his jacket demanding money from the clerk.

The man is described as a white male in his mid 20's between 5'7'' or 5'10'' tall, wearing gray sweatpants, and an oversized black winter jacket with fur on the hood. He has blonde hair and a mustache.

No one was injured during the robberies and it is unknown how much money was taken.

Investigators are also looking to question a man who was seen buying two blunt cigars at the Parker's in Blitchton a few minutes before the robbery.

Investigators say that man left the gas station in a white Chevrolet or GMC a few minutes before the robbery but then came back and pulled back around the gas station.

Anyone with information on the suspect is being asked to contact Detective Reed at Liberty County Sheriff's Office at 912.876.4555 or contact 912.368.3911.
