3rd annual Happily Ever After Ball raises money for Children's Hospital

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The third annual Happily Ever After Ball hosted by Princesses with a Purpose, provided families with fairy tale fun for the kids while raising money for Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center.

The event was held at Brockington Hall in Savannah on Sunday. Princesses and Princes of all sorts were there courtesy of the non-profit group, Princesses with a Purpose.

"You know, most organizations do events where only their parents can attend, and this they can bring their children so, it's not exactly Disney, but at least it saves you a four hour drive and it's something magical on a beautiful Sunday afternoon," said Brandy Will, the Chair of the Happily Ever After Ball.

"They get prizes, and they get to meet all the princesses and princes, and I think they have a wonderful, wonderful time."

The group is dedicated to providing a fun atmosphere to help raise money for charitable causes. Next Generation Organization will receive the funds raised, and donate them to the Children's Hospital.

The Happily Ever After Ball sold out this year, with around 300 tickets.

Games, music, and food made the night a royal one for all the families that took part. All the participants hope the Happily Ever After Ball will give more children a chance to be happy and enjoy a high standard quality of life.
