The Central States BIM Workshop attracted more than 160 attendees to Omaha, NE for its two-day BIM education and training event featuring over 30 sessions and 7 nationally-recognized speakers.
Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) August 28, 2014
The Central States BIM Workshop, a two-day event focused on training and education for Intermediate and Advanced-level BIM users, attracted over 160 people to the Scott Conference Center in Omaha, NE from August 21 22, 2014.
Currently in its third year, the Central States BIM Workshop brought together industry-leading experts and speakers to create a high-quality two-day schedule that included six breakout sessions covering topics such as worksharing, laser scanning, MEP design, computational BIM, multi-discipline collaboration, and growing your business with BIM.
The BIM Workshop continues to be a high caliber event which I look forward to participating in, states Paul F. Aubin, author of Renaissance Revit and the Aubin Academy series. It is a pleasure to be a part of this premiere user event and a part of the distinguished group of Speakers.
The BIM Workshops started as a result of feedback from the Central States BIM community, so we are always grateful for the continuous support that the BIM community here has given us, states Carla Edwards, event founder. And because of that support, we are very proud and excited to announce that the BIM Workshops will be returning to the Central States again in 2015. Dates, speakers, and registration information for 2015 will be announced on our website soon.
Additionally, those interested in other upcoming Workshops can register now for the Pacific Coast BIM Workshops in Anaheim, CA from September 25 26, 2014. The inaugural event for the Pacific Coast anticipates over 200 attendees, 30 class options, and 25 different speakers. The Pacific Coast BIM Workshop will also be the first Workshop outside of the Central States, and will serve as the kick-off for future locations throughout the country.
About the BIM Workshops
The BIM Workshops events started with the Central States Revit Workshop two years ago. The continued success of the Central States Revit Workshop along with the technical communitys positive feedback prompted an expansion to two events in 2014 and a re-branding to the name BIM Workshops. The Workshops were created originally to connect local users with national, regional, and local industry speakers and leaders. For many users, the Workshops continue to be the most cost-effective opportunity to get training in Autodesk software and to learn from and network with their industry leaders and peers.
