Bulloch County Sheriff's investigators are looking for details in a house fire they believe someone set.
According to Chief Deputy Jared Akins, he was patrolling the Clito area early Saturday morning when he saw flames inside a house on Swallowtail Drive and called for fire crews.
They got the fire extinguished before the damage could get to the outside of the house. The family who rents the house was not at home.
They are now getting assistance from the American Red Cross and are staying with relatives.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office at 912.764.8888.
