Soldiers Come Home for the Holidays

You'll probably be seeing a lot of camouflage at the airport over the next few weeks. Most of the Third Infantry Division is deploying to Iraq next month, and those who are getting a chance to go home for the holidays are taking advantage of it.

A lot of soldiers say they've got to make this trip count, since they know for a fact they won't be home for Christmas next year, with deployments planned for anywhere from 12 to 18 months.

"It's something I've grown accustomed to," said PFC Kevin Garrett. "I haven't been able to spend as much time with my family the last year and a half as I'd like to anyways."
