Christmas is just three days away, and with kids out of school and many people already off work for the holidays, travelers are already hitting the roads and filling the airports.
While this is a busy time of year at the airport, officials say it's not as busy as Thanksgiving, partly because this holiday season is spread out over more than a week.
Still, they saw more people come through the doors yesterday than in the last few weeks, and even more are expected today and tomorrow. "It's starting to pick up today and it should get really busy tomorrow and Thursday," said airport spokesperson Lori Griffin. "Especially Thursday, which will be very busy for us."
If you're flying somewhere this holiday, make sure you give yourself plenty of time to catch your flight.
