SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire is getting help in a major way from Low Country Dermatology.
On Wednesday, Dr. Corinne Howington of Low Country Dermatology donated $1,000 and a a few supplies to the Ronald McDonald House.
The doctor is also accepting wish list items from patients and community members.
"It is such a nice resource for families to be able to have a place to go while their children are in the hospital. What better time of year to do it than around the holidays," Dr. Howington said.
"What this will do today is help get us through the holidays with our children and with our families," Bill Sorochak explained, Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire.
If you would like to donate, drop off items Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Low Country Dermatology office, 310 Eisenhower Drive Suite #12A in Savannah, GA 31406.
