Savannah-Chatham police confirm tonight that one of their own is behind bars. They say 48-year-old Cpl. Charlie Fields is charged with stalking and unlawful eavesdropping or surveillance.
Cpl. Fields was assigned to Precinct One's homeless task force in downtown Savannah.
The internal affairs and criminal investigations are still ongoing.
