Savannah State University and Armstrong University commencement ceremony

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC)
Two local universities held their Fall commencement ceremonies Saturday.
Savannah State University's 185th commencement took place at the Tiger Arena. Hundreds of students received their graduate and undergraduate degrees in Business, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences and Technologies. White House Deputy Chief Information Officer Dr. Alissa Johnson served as the speaker.
734 graduates from Armstrong University also received their degrees in a two part ceremony. Students received master's degrees, bachelor's degrees and associate's degrees in a wide range of fields. Renee Hutson Connolly Ph.D an Armstrong alum delivered the commencement speech for both events.
