Several people are homeless after a fire on Savannah's west side around 5:30am yesterday morning. Firefighters were called out to the home on West 48th Street, where they found flames shooting out the first-floor bedroom window of the two-story building.
Two people had to be rushed to Memorial Health for their injuries.
The Red Cross is helping six people who lived in the house.
