CEMA: Report animals left in cold to Animal Control

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) - Low temperatures are expected to stay in the region through the end of the week, and the Chatham Emergency Management Agency said wind chill values could be hazardous for anyone outdoors for an extended period of time, including children, elderly and pets.

Please report any animals that may be without shelter from the elements to the SCMPD Animal Control division. Concerns can be called to Animal Control dispatch qat 912.652.6575 or at 912.535.2151.

You can also email you concern for any animal to csutherin@savannahga.gov or jarmastrong@savannahga.gov. Please include the address, nature of concern and description of animals, as well as any other information you have.
