SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The Hollis Stacy award is now in it's 23rd year, named after the Savannian who won four major golf titles and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
Savannah Country Day's Amari Oliver is this year's winner, excelling in track, volleyball and basketball. Oliver averaged 12.2 points and 9.3 rebounds per game on the court her senior year. The journey was long, battling injuries, losing her father to cancer in 2011, and she learned a lot along the way.
Oliver is considering walking on the basketball team at Mercer University in Macon.
