Georgia Southern may be getting some help at linebacker, and it comes from a National title team. Ukeme Eligwe is headed to Statesboro from Florida State, this according to the AJC. The Stone Mountain native was dismissed from Florida State last season for undisclosed violation of team rules, and may wind up with two years of eligibility.
The big concern going into camp in the offenseive line. The Eagles must find a way to replace four starters up from, with 6 total starters coming back on the offense. Senior Darien Foreman is the only returning starter.
Wille Fritz-"We got to replace those guys, and someone is going to have to step up, a few guys are going to have to step up. I told our guys, you know last year everyone was wondering how we were going to replace Jarick McKennon, third round draft pick, Minnesota Vikings, great runningback. Matt Breida stepped up and became the leading rusher in the conference this season, led the nation in yards per carry, so it's an opportunity for somebody to step up and start for us on the offensive line."
The Eagles report to campus on August 2nd with the first practice on August 3rd.
