Driver in SUV Hauler Wreck Released from Hospital

A Savannah man has been released from the hospital after losing control of his tractor-trailer yesterday on Interstate 95. The truck was carrying nine SUVs when it flipped over just south of the South Carolina welcome center.

The rig, driven by 34-year-old Johnnie Robinson, Jr., was seen weaving across the highway for several miles before the accident. Police say a mechanical problem is likely responsible for the crash.

No charges have been filed against the driver.
