Farmers, bankers, and others in agriculture in Bulloch County gathered Friday for prayer and devotional on the eve of the harvest season.
Agriculture accounts for $180 million to Bulloch County's economy.
Many said the gathering helps them keep things in proper perspective.
"Everything we do, we depend on our God in Heaven. From the markets to the weather, everything. We don't have a way to go out and just make something happen,” Kyle Shedd, prayer and devotional event organizer.
They'll start the harvest for peanuts, soybeans, corn and more.
