TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) -

Filming for the Adam Sandler and David Spade movie 'The Do Over' is expected to cause traffic delays on U.S. 80 between Thunderbolt and Tybee Island on Friday.

The Georgia Department of Transportation says crews will be working on U.S. 80 from the Lazaretto Boat Ramp to the driveway entering Fort Pulaski. Rolling scene filming will require intermittent traffic stops of no longer than 5 minutes between the hours of 6:45 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Local law enforcement will be responsible for pacing traffic and monitoring of traffic to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

"I think everything has gone well so far. It has been good for the community. It has been good for Savannah. As far as the mutual respect thing, it has been great. Everyone is low key and they have been very professional. It has really been a good thing for everybody,” said Barry Brown, councilmen.
