Woman indicted for hit and run accident that injured Tybee Island jogger

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

One woman is behind bars, after being indicted on 11 counts. Four of those for serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving and for a hit and run in May that left one Tybee Island jogger hospitalized.

Holly Hatcher, 37, is accused of causing severe injury to Susan St. Pierre’s hip and leg.

Investigators say Hatcher was driving a truck on U.S. 80 near Campbell Avenue when she hit the woman jogging.

Prosecutors say Hatcher was under the influence of drugs, but knowingly drove off after the accident.

She was arrested later that day after being involved in another wreck on Wilmington Island.
