Another candidate officially in the running to become the next mayor of Savannah.
Businessman and former Commissioner Eddie DeLoach made the announcement at an event right across the street from the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department Thursday.
DeLoach says if elected, he’ll work to rebuild trust between the police and the public.
"I guarantee if you give me four years, I'll give you 100 police officers, fiscal responsibility, and a vision. That's all,” said DeLoach.
DeLoach is joining incumbent Edna Jackson and Murray Silver in the running for mayor.
