Four arrested in prostitution sting at Abercorn St. hotel

Four prostitution-related arrests were made Wednesday night by Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department’s Southside Precinct Crime Suppression Unit and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Taylor Lynn Rogers, 25, is charged with prostitution and escorting without a license. Nicole Dale, 23, is charged with prostitution, escorting without a license and felony obstruction. Michelle Hyden, 46, is charged with pimping. David Atlee Gibson, 57, is charged with pandering.

The undercover operation took place at a hotel on Abercorn Street. The operation targeted pimps, prostitutes and individuals soliciting these services.

In a press release, Capt. Terry Shoop, Commander of SCMPD’s Southside Precinct said, “Prostitution is a crime that fosters other types of criminal activities such as drugs, robberies, and aggravated assaults. We are very pleased with the outcome of last night’s operation, and will continue these operations as needed.”
