'Follow the Fiddlers' project on the streets of Bluffton

A set of fiddler crabs are hanging around the streets of Bluffton.

It’s called ‘Follow the Fiddlers” and it’s part of a project from the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Class.

The purpose is to promote awareness of preserving local marine life, and the May River.

But kids are encouraged to have some fun with them as well.

"I have heard from some adults and they have trouble finding them. And then the children in the park will point it out to them, because the children can find them faster than the adults,” said Diane Bartlett, member of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class.

Some of the fiddlers are a bit difficult to spot, so if you'd like some help with your search, you can head by the Bluffton-Hilton Head Chamber of Commerce to pick up a map of where all of them are located.
