The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged a man in connection with the Aug. 31st burglary at the Seaside Mini-Mart on St. Helena Island.
Devin Salley, 20, stole over $7,000 worth of merchandise, including lottery tickets, tobacco products, and cash.
Salley was identified through store surveillance video.
On Sept. 3rd, investigators obtained warrants for Salley’s arrest for burglary 2nd degree, grand larceny, and falsely passing of a lottery ticket.
He was arrested without incident in Beaufort Friday.
He was transported and currently remains in the Beaufort County Detention Center.
