South Carolina -

Absentee voting is underway for the Senate District 45 Special Primary Democratic runoff.

Kenneth Hodges and Margie Bright-Matthews are the two candidates facing off, after leading the voting in last week's primary election.

The runoff election will be next Tuesday, Sep. 15th. But you can vote in person all throughout this week at two locations: one in Bluffton at 61-B Ulmer Rd. and one in Beaufort at 15 John Galt Rd.

You can stop by and vote from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at either office until next Monday.

The runoff election winner will then take on Republican Al Fernandez in a general election Oct. 20th.

The winning candidate will fill the remainder of the late Senator Clementa Pinckney's term.
