Jazz Singer Reads to Children

Some youngsters got a very special visit this morning. Local jazz singer Jacey Falk visited the young students at Gadsen Elementary School this morning. He read books and spoke of why it's important to contribute to society.

"You should make a contribution, and this is my way of making a contribution," he said. "If I can read to the children and hopefully get them hooked on reading, or tell them about something I do, they get hooked on music. Then I have made a contribution. That's very rewarding to me."

The school often brings in guests to help inspire the children in different artistic fields.
